Background
Lewpoly Center-Pin Reels are traditional in design and handmade
for durability and ease of use. We have based the design of this
reel on the long-established wooden 'Scarborough Reel'. Using high
Tech Polymer with solid brass fittings the Lewpoly sea reel has
all the advantages of the time proven Scarborough Reel as well the
durability and resistant qualities of Polymer. The Lewpoly Center
Pin Reel has been in production only since the early 1990's but
has already established itself as a reel for all seasons and seas.
Application
The Lewpoly reels (as with the Lewtuf Range) offer particular benefits
to Charter Boat Skippers. However, these are also reels for serious
sea anglers too who want simple but strong performance characteristics
together with ease of use and easy do-it-yourself maintenance and
repair by replacement. Sea fishing is a tough and hostile environment
for anglers and their equipment so get the best of both worlds -
traditional efficiency in design with modern low maintenance construction
and materials. Can be used by both left and right handed anglers.
Suitable for cod, tope, bass, mackerel, conger eel, ling, plaice,
dab, rays (including thornback), flounder, pollock.
