The design incorporates a nylon check which resists the tendency to 'bird nesting' from uncontrolled line run out. Renowned for its extended free running capability which you can test by batting the spool and you will need to wait for some minutes before it stops spinning.

Application
Ideal for trotting the Leeds is also entirely at home fishing the margins. In addition it has a limited ledgering capability which allows for that unexpected requirement to go for a likely spot. Can be used by both left and right handed anglers. Suitable for Dace, Perch, Rudd, Roach, Eel, Common Bream.
